In an interesting development, one of the Chicago saber clubs is no more and I stand to pick up a few new students. One of the founding members is a former teammate of mine and he and another came to play on Saturday.

It was both fun and a good chance for me to "show off" a couple of my younger students. The two visitors were quite impressed with them.

I'm looking forward to training more people on a regular basis, plus they were intrigued by the armband idea that I've been slowly introducing.
